Editing user permissions

The Manage Users screen in MyBSquared has options that enable you to:

  • select what BSquared products a user has access to
  • show if they are a safe guarding lead
  • show if their account is suspended

To edit Software Access Rights #

Option 1:

  1. Navigate to Manage Users.
  2. Search for the user whose permissions you want to edit. Use filters and / or alphabet to help you search.
  3. Click on the Software icon along the user’s name to enable / disable access-rights: green means access, while red means no access to the software.

Option 2:

  1. Navigate to Manage Users.
  2. Tick all users whose permissions you want to edit.
  3. Click on the drop-down above the grid and change it from “Please select” to the Access right you wish to change (e.g. for Connecting Steps you would choose CS Access).
  4. Click on “Apply“.
  5. A modal will open listing the users whose permissions will be changed. Use the slider to set the access right for the software. (Note that not all access rights are applicable for all roles).
  6. Click “Confirm“.

To edit user permissions #

Option 1:

  1. Navigate to Manage Users.
  2. Search for the user whose permissions you want to edit. Use filters and / or alphabet to help you search.
  3. Click the Edit icon. 

The Edit User window opens.

  1. Click the slider button to enable or disable a user permission.
  2. Click Save.

Option 2:

  1. Navigate to Manage Users.
  2. Tick all users whose permissions you want to edit.
  3. Click on the drop-down above the grid and change it from “Please select” to the permission right you wish to change (e.g. Safeguard Lead).
  4. Click on “Apply“.
  5. A modal will open listing the users whose permissions will be changed. Use the slider to set the permission right for the users listed.
  6. Click “Confirm“.

Note: Users can’t have access to CSAM without access to Connecting Steps.
