If school users don’t want feedback from parents on a particular post (such as a whole class update), simply turn off comments for that post. This can be done in two different ways.
In School Preferences
In School Preferences, your school administrator can set the ‘Parent Commenting Allowed’ sliders to ‘off’ for different post types. This will turn off commenting for parents on all new posts of these types.

On Individual Posts
At an individual post level, when tagging students, users can choose to allow parents and guardians to comment on a particular post by ticking the box – ‘Allow parents and guardians to comment’ (located at the bottom of the screen).
