What is a structured post? #
Structured posts are a way to ensure users include the information needed when adding a post. Instead of having an empty text box for users to type into when adding a post, structured posts turn the post into a series of questions they need to answer. An example of this is our Reading Diary structured post, this asks the person creating the post to add the following information:
- Book being read
- Start page
- End page
- Comments
Structured posts are linked to post types. The above structured post would only make sense for a Reading Diary post, so that is the only place it appears. If there is a post structure you want to use within Evisense, but it is not available, please contact the B Squared support team.
Using Structured Posts #
The guide below shows you how to use structured posts within Evisense when creating a post. The structured posts you see will depend on the post type you are using and the structured posts available in your school.
