Device restriction allows schools to control what devices are used. It can be turned off if required.
Change the level of device security
- In MyBSquared navigate to Evisense Options
- Turn the Device Restriction Slider off/on
Note: By default the slider is switched on this means that any device to be used with Evisense must be authorised by an administrator logging into the device first. Turning this option off it will remove this level of security and will allow any device to be connected to Evisense without being authorised by an administrator
When turning of the device restriction the below message will be displayed
‘Device Restriction is designed to enforce school mobile device use policies. By turning this off teachers will be able to use the app on any mobile device.’
