# Using filters to search for a student

All students are listed in **Manage Students** in MyBSquared. The default setting shows all your school's students listed in alphabetical order.

To find students more quickly and easily use the filter options to search. For example: you can refine a search by historic students or by a particular class.

### To use filters in a search

1. Navigate to **Manage Students** in MyBSquared.
2. Click **Choose Filter**and select the required filter.

Your search results are shown on the screen.

1. Refine your results further by clicking on a letter in the alphabet if required.
