# Removing a student from a teaching, data or messaging group

### To remove a student from a non registration group

1. Navigate to **Manage Groups** in MyBSquared .
2. Search for the teaching, data or messaging group from which you want to remove a student.
3. Click the **Edit**icon next to the group name.

The **Edit Group** window opens.

1. Click the **Delete** icon next the the student you want to remove from the group.
2. Click **OK**.

The system removes the student from the group.

**Note**: The student is only removed from this group. You can still access the student's details in Connecting Steps.

1. Click **Save**.
