# How to set your default group

Click on your profile picture/initials in the bottom left of Evisense and choose "User Preferences". Scroll down to "Default Group": the drop-down will hold all Registration, Teaching and Messaging groups your school currently uses. Just select the one you want to make your default group and click save.
