# Force password reset

The force password reset will force a user to reset their password, Upon logging in, they will be prompted to change their password.

1. To Force a password reset on a user, go to the **manage users** page in **My BSquared**
2. Once on this page, find the user or users that you want to for a password reset for.
3. Click the tick box in the select column.
4. Click the **Please select** field at the top left of the page and choose **Force password reset**.
5. Click **apply** to the right of the field.

   A window will pop up showing the users you have selected.
6. Click **Confirm**.
